Dean's Kaskaskia Manuscripts Digest

 

Below are links to Lawrie Dean's 1981 Digest (or chronological summary – also known as a “calendar”) of the notarial records known as the Kaskaskia Manuscripts, housed (principally) in the Randolph County, Illinois Courthouse since the early 19th century.

Each section will open as a PDF window – the files are large and may take

some time to load. The Digest has been broken into roughly 40MB

documents, and divided at breaks of a given year. The citation for each can be found on the cover page.
